Why it is in this guide

A clearly documented way to experience real school classes with enrolled pupils, rather than only holiday activities. The school expressly welcomes international families visiting Bali for a few weeks.

Who it may suit

Children who can already follow simple spoken English and want a taste of an English-medium school. Parents must plan a stay that overlaps local term time and arrange day-to-day care.

What to weigh up

This is not a zero-English beginner course or a boarding package. The Bali campus is relatively new, so ACS’s wider history must not be mistaken for a long record of this particular short-stay programme.

Operating history and evidence

The official programme, current timetable and grade guidance establish an ongoing short-stay offer. A 21 Apr 2026 school-directory profile dates the campus opening to 2025, but is a researched listing, not a parent review. No dated independent first-hand short-stay parent account or multi-year immersion record was found.

Age, language and eligibility

International visitors in Grades 1–8 may apply for 2–4 weeks. The short-stay page requires basic spoken English and two recent school reports with English translations if needed; acceptance is reviewed by the school. General grade guidance starts Grade 1 at age 6 by 31 October; confirm short-stay placement individually.

What the days look like

Attend ordinary Cambridge classes alongside enrolled children. The school day begins 08:15 and ends 14:20 for Grades 1–2,14:55 for Grades 3–4, and 15:30 for Grades 5–8. An attendance certificate is offered; inclusion in after-school clubs is not established.

Parents, accommodation and transport

Day-school attendance in Kura Kura Bali near Serangan. No short-stay lodging or airport-transfer package is published; parents arrange a local base, commuting and care outside class. From Tokyo, plan airport-to-southern-Bali travel and check the actual school commute before choosing a hotel.

Included costs and the family budget

The undated short-stay page lists USD 450 (Approx. ¥71,000)/week or part-week plus a required USD 120 (Approx. ¥19,000) uniform charge. Two weeks therefore gives a USD 1,020 (Approx. ¥161,000) base subtotal per child, not a verified all-in quote. The pricing year, short-stay application/materials charges, lunches, trips and tax treatment need confirmation; family lodging and travel are additional.

JPY estimates use 2 October 2026 reference rates, normally rounded to ¥1,000, with whole-yen values near filter boundaries. Payment rates and fees differ. Rates and sources

Before you book

Obtain written approval for your exact dates and grade before booking travel. Ask for beginner/EAL support limits, the full short-stay invoice, lunch and pickup arrangements, required study/entry permission, and the short-stay contract. Regular-school application rules should not automatically be copied to visitors.

Cancellation and refunds

A short-stay cancellation/refund policy was not found. The annual school-fee page has withdrawal rules for semester enrolment, but their applicability to a 2–4 week visitor is not established. Obtain the short-stay terms in writing before paying.
