Arrowhead Skills / Nexus English Camps
English classes, forest activities and a choice of day or residential camp in Putrajaya.
Past edition · next season unverified
The verified Nexus English edition ran 27 July–9 August 2026 and has ended. It is a planning reference, not a 2027 booking offer. Arrowhead advertises later holiday camps at other partner schools; these have different ages, English requirements and schedules.

Why it is in this guide
A useful first residential option for an older primary-school child, with a day alternative for families staying nearby. The combination of English grouping and forest activities is more distinctive than a classroom-only course.
Who it may suit
Best for ages 8–12 who want English study plus active afternoons, and for families considering boarding without committing to a full school term.
What to weigh up
Arrowhead operates the camp; attendance does not mean teaching by Nexus school staff. Putrajaya is outside central Kuala Lumpur, so choose accommodation around the actual daily transfer rather than a tourist address.
Operating history and evidence
A parent account published 13 November 2025 describes a two-week Nexus residential camp: increased confidence, many Chinese-speaking participants and some homesickness at a parent event. The author links to and promotes a study-abroad agency, so this is a commercially connected first-person account, not independent validation of the 2026 Arrowhead team. Operator testimonials support repeat attendance at other venues but are selected marketing evidence.

First-person parent account with agency links
The parent valued greater independence and multilingual friendships, but described a substantial Chinese-speaking intake and homesickness among some campers.
One earlier Nexus residential edition; the author promotes GLOBRIDGE. It does not establish the later operator, staffing or language mix.
Read the sourceAge, language and eligibility
The operator explicitly accepts children who do not attend the host school. The 2026 Nexus language product accepted ages 8–15 and A0–B1+ learners, grouped by ability; overseas participation is also documented in an earlier parent account. Confirm short-stay visitor documentation and guardianship for the chosen edition. Ordinary Arrowhead multi-activity camps require enough English to understand instructions and must not be treated as beginner language camps.
What the days look like
The 2026 day product offered five or seven days, usually 08:30–16:45; the separate 3–7 August listing says 08:00, so confirm drop-off time. English, creative teamwork, sport and forest-school activities form the mix. Residential arrival was Monday morning and departure Sunday noon.
Parents, accommodation and transport
Day participants stay with their parent and arrange local accommodation and transport. Residential participants sleep on campus; the product says all meals are included, although a lower generic section lists only breakfast and lunch. Obtain the edition-specific boarding inclusions and airport-transfer arrangement before travel from Tokyo.
Included costs and the family budget
The operator listed MYR 2,500 (Approx. ¥97,000) per child for the five-day Nexus English/multi-activity camp on 3–7 August 2026. Materials, school facilities, camp shirt and daytime food were listed. Accommodation, family travel, medical/travel insurance and paid buses are separate. The exact residential total and tax treatment were not verified; the comparison example is a base fee, not a complete family budget.

Before you book
Ask which operator/team will run the new edition, the actual venue, language assessment, nationality mix, water supervision, pickup arrangements and full tax-inclusive invoice. The 2026 pages contain conflicting date/hour and meal boilerplate; do not transfer those details automatically to 2027.
Cancellation and refunds
The operator's general policy gives a full refund for written notice at least 28 days before camp, 50% at 14–27 days, and none inside 14 days. Card-processing charges, described as averaging about 3.5%, are not refunded. Deferral is discretionary; verify that these general terms cover the residential edition.
