Why it is in this guide

The weekly format lets a family try a short, structured English stay without committing to a residential course. Projects, experiments, drama and presentations give language practice a purpose.

Who it may suit

Best for a child aged 7+ who is ready to attend a classroom camp independently while a parent stays in Singapore. Beginners are explicitly welcomed. Parents arrange the rest of the family holiday.

What to weigh up

The confirmed winter weeks fall between 18 January and 19 February, usually outside Japan’s standard school winter break. Summer 2026 accepted ages 4–16, but do not carry that younger intake into Winter 2027. This is a half-day study camp rather than all-day childcare.

Operating history and evidence

Independent, recent first-hand holiday-camp reviews were not located. A Japanese education-advisory article updated 30 January 2026 includes the author’s daughter’s earlier participation and says some English helps with group work; it is commercial guidance, with no year for that experience. British Council’s own parent quotations are selected testimonials and mostly concern regular classes, not this camp.

Age, language and eligibility

The operator markets its summer stream to international students and provides registration guidance for families not living in Singapore. Winter 2027 accepts ages 7–17 at all English levels. Short-term overseas participation is supported, but visitor-pass/visa eligibility and the child’s placement must be confirmed for the actual stay; no promise that every tourist status qualifies.

What the days look like

Winter 2027: 18–22 Jan, 25–29 Jan, 1–4 Feb, 9–12 Feb and 15–19 Feb, 09:00–13:00 at Napier Road. The February holiday weeks contain four days. Each week stands alone. Games, research, experiments, presentations and drama support English learning; the published maximum ratio for primary/secondary camps is 1:19.

Parents, accommodation and transport

Non-residential. A parent or appointed adult needs a local base and must arrange daily travel and supervision outside camp hours. Accommodation, family meals and airport transfers are not offered in the stated camp package. Confirm the current authorised pickup procedure and any snack requirements before travelling.

Included costs and the family budget

Published Winter 2027 course fee: SGD805 (Approx. ¥99,000) per child per week, including materials, certificate and 9% GST. A representative five-day week is 18–22 January 2027. Two February weeks have only four camp days; no separate reduced price is shown. Multi-week discounts are advertised but are not used in this comparison. Flights, family lodging, meals and transport are separate.

Before you book

Ask for age/level placement, a place in the exact week, the four-day-week charge, collection arrangements, meal/snack policy and admission documents. The non-resident registration page mentions an emailed level check and an arrival consultation; confirm which steps apply specifically to camp. Japan residence alone does not determine entry permission.

Cancellation and refunds

The published camp refund table states 75% back before the course starts, none after it starts, and 100% if the operator cancels or a paid camp student is refused entry to Singapore before commencement. However, section 5.6 also uses broader non-refundable wording. Obtain written clarification of which clause applies before paying; refund paperwork and bank-processing time also apply.
