BROWNS Brisbane · Primary School Preparation+
English plus holiday activities for primary children staying with a parent in Brisbane. The junior flyer separates this programme from the older students’ holiday course and homestay.
Dates published · check places
2027 Brisbane flyers publish 10 January–20 February and 4 July–14 August, including Sunday arrivals; classes start the following Monday. The academic calendar lists PSP+ ages 7–11 while the flyers say 6–11, so age 6 remains confirm-first. 2026 and 2025 flyers establish recurrence.

Why it is in this guide
A city-based programme with explicit parent arrangements and published primary-age pricing. It offers a different seasonal climate and a smaller time-zone adjustment from Tokyo than Europe or North America.
Who it may suit
Parents who will stay in Brisbane and want beginner-friendly English with outings. Suitable when the child enjoys structured lessons followed by crafts, science, parks or animal attractions.
What to weigh up
Do not buy the A$850 teen package for a primary child: PSP+ has separate tuition and activity fees. BROWNS homestay starts at age 12; the family must arrange appropriate housing for younger children.
Operating history and evidence
Official 2025–27 flyers establish a recurring programme. The operator reports a 2026 academic leadership award and publishes student testimonials, but these are not independent parent reviews of PSP+. School-wide commercial reviews are mainly adults; a recent detailed independent primary-family account was not verified.
Age, language and eligibility
International short-stay families can apply without enrolment in an Australian school. The primary preparation guide accepts beginner English and a parent/guardian accompaniment model. A parent must sign the child in and out daily; get age-6 admission confirmed because current official documents disagree.
What the days look like
The holiday flyer describes 15 hours of English each week plus activities/excursions across six days. Weekdays mix lessons and activities, and Saturday is a full-day excursion. Get PSP+ arrival, collection and meal times for the chosen week; the regular tuition-only primary timetable is a different product.
Parents, accommodation and transport
Brisbane campus: Level 8, 102 Adelaide Street. Parent and child use their own hotel/apartment; the advertised full-board homestay is for ages 12+. Optional airport transfers are separately priced. Allow a settling day after the flight from Tokyo.
Included costs and the family budget
2027 flyer: one week PSP+ A$640 (Approx. ¥70,000) tuition + A$220 (Approx. ¥24,000) activities + A$260 (Approx. ¥28,000) application + A$100 (Approx. ¥11,000) resources = A$1,220 (Approx. ¥133,000) per child. Family accommodation, meals, flights and insurance are extra. Brisbane airport transfer is A$180 (Approx. ¥20,000) each way in the flyer. A limited parent-course promotion exists, but is not used in the comparison fee. Primary-student rules also require uniforms, but it is unclear whether the holiday package includes them, so this is a base-price comparison until confirmed.

Before you book
Confirm age, the PSP+ group’s English levels, exact daily handover times and which meals are included. Ask for a full family quote and the applicable cancellation rule for the activity component; Japanese-language publicity does not guarantee Japanese-speaking classroom or welfare staff. Ask specifically whether the PSP+ resource/package charge includes all required uniforms; do not assume the regular primary-course uniform charges are already included.
Cancellation and refunds
The currently linked July 2024 policy returns refundable fees in full more than four weeks before starting, and 50% less than four weeks before starting; application/placement fees are non-refundable. Later tuition/material refunds are generally unavailable, subject to stated exceptions. The exact four-week boundary and PSP+ activity treatment need written confirmation.
