Why it is in this guide

Camp Asia Singapore — Holiday Camps / English Lab: Especially useful for a first overseas day-camp experience: children can follow their interests, or choose an actual beginner-English course rather than rely on incidental language exposure.

Who it may suit

Families able to stay in Singapore and manage pickup. The two-week English Lab fits a longer holiday base; siblings can choose different interests if venue/dates align.

What to weigh up

This is day provision, with no included parent course or accommodation. Do not confuse holiday camps with Camp Asia Academy's weekly term-time classes, or assume every track runs each week.

Operating history and evidence

The provider's English Lab page contains Summer 2018 history. A Japanese parent account dated 14 July 2026 describes two children in cooking/basketball: positive activities and friendships, but language/nationality mix varied. It is a single self-published account and not a review of English Lab.

Age, language and eligibility

The official FAQ explicitly welcomes students from different nationalities, schools and countries; attendance at the host schools is unnecessary. Parents remain responsible for accommodation and out-of-camp care. English Lab: 5–14 in four age groups; other tracks have their own age limits. English Lab is explicitly for beginners. Sports/cooking and other activity tracks are English-medium and do not automatically provide English tuition. Japanese support is not guaranteed.

What the days look like

English Lab runs 09:00–15:00: language work in the morning and creative/STEM activities later. Lunch and breaks are built in. Check the exact campus; some tracks use off-campus venues.

Parents, accommodation and transport

Book family accommodation separately and choose it after checking that week's venue and bus stops. The website quotes SGD120 return bus service/week. Tokyo planning: Singapore is a straightforward gateway with local transit, but hotel and daily transport can dominate the extra budget.

Included costs and the family budget

Listed English Lab reference: SGD1,430 per child/two-week course, including lunch, morning/afternoon snacks and T-shirt. Other tracks have different fees. Flights, family accommodation, optional bus and insurance are additional; obtain a current total for the chosen dates.

Before you book

Confirm English Lab's year/session, age group and placement, actual venue, transport, food arrangements and daily pickup. Camp tuition alone is not a total family-trip price. English Lab: two consecutive weekdays-only weeks; other holiday tracks often three or five days.

Cancellation and refunds

Official terms: prepaid camps/bus bookings are non-refundable after payment. Changes require at least ten days' notice and availability; higher-priced alternatives cost extra. Late pickup can cost SGD50 per ten minutes after 15:00.
