A French-learning family stay on the Riviera, with play mornings for ages 6–7 and classes for older children. Best approached as a parent-accompanied option with close attention to mixed camp reviews.

Dates published · check places

2027 Essential summer family programme is published for 27 June–21 August. Premium ages 8–11 have summer French classes, with recreational French mornings in spring/autumn; do not assume year-round formal classes for the youngest group. Places have not been checked.

Why it is in this guide

A recurring French-language alternative to English camps, with 2026 official tariffs and an announced 2027 family season. Optional parent classes and child morning/day variants allow families to choose their level of separation.

Who it may suit

Families specifically interested in French and a shared Riviera stay. Ages 6–7 can start through play; ages 8–11 can take a morning course and spend the rest of the day with a parent.

What to weigh up

Parent reviews include both repeat enthusiasm and material complaints about residential rooms, activities, supervision and communication. This profile highlights family/day attendance; do not treat the operator’s aggregate review score as an endorsement of boarding for young children.

Operating history and evidence

Mixed independent-platform parent evidence. A January 2025 review of a nine-year-old’s July 2024 stay praised lessons and activities; a July 2026 parent review praised a three-week stay. An August 2025 review praised teaching but criticised accommodation and camp management during a July 2024 stay. These are self-reported accounts across variants, not verified findings about every campus.

Parent: teaching praised, lodging criticised

A parent reviewing a July 2024 stay liked the language teaching but reported poor first-week rooms, slow problem resolution and disappointing activity supervision.

Unverified account concerning residential provision and teenagers; not proof that every current family/day course has these problems.

Age, language and eligibility

International visiting families are explicitly welcomed. French beginner to advanced groups are advertised; English proficiency is not the teaching objective. Ages 6–7 attend play mornings, not the older children’s full camp schedule. Parents remain responsible outside the booked day programme; the terms require students to manage allergies autonomously, so support needs require specific confirmation.

What the days look like

Children’s standard course is twenty 45-minute lessons weekly, normally 09:00–12:20 Monday–Friday, followed by lunch. Choose free family afternoons or a separately priced activity/day programme; ages 6–7 have a play-based morning. Parent French classes are optional.

Parents, accommodation and transport

Families live together in their own lodging or separately priced Aragon studios/private apartments. The provider describes shuttles between its residence and child classes; confirm the route and eligibility for your accommodation. From Tokyo, allow time for the long-haul flight and onward transfer from Nice.

Included costs and the family budget

The 2027 family page lists Essential morning course plus lunch at €499 (Approx. ¥88,000)/week. A one-week child booking adds €60 (Approx. ¥11,000) administration and the €60 (Approx. ¥11,000) one-week junior supplement: €619 (Approx. ¥110,000). The age-8–11 Essential day programme is separately listed at €800 (Approx. ¥142,000)/week before these fees. Parent classes, family lodging, insurance, flights and unlisted transport are extra; obtain a variant-specific quote.

Before you book

Confirm whether the quote is Essential or Premium, the child’s age band, lunch and the exact handover time; prices on general camp pages cover different combinations. Ask how the current team handles communication, illness, food and group supervision in light of the mixed parent accounts.

Cancellation and refunds

Current published terms charge €120 more than 30 working days before arrival. For courses without lodging, cancellation charges are 30% at 30–15 working days, 40% at 14–7, and 50% at 6–1; no-show or an interrupted stay is non-refundable. Packages with accommodation have higher percentages. Confirm the total invoice basis and applicable terms before paying.
