Why it is in this guide

A genuine two-week boarding model with a published daily routine, organised age groups and detailed inclusions.

Who it may suit

An 8+ child who actively wants a residential English camp and enjoys outdoor activities and sports.

What to weigh up

No parent-accompanied day format is advertised. This is not suitable for a five-to-seven-year-old under the current age rules; old 7+ or different-campus listings should not be reused.

Operating history and evidence

Official annual publications and historical parent feedback support recurring operation. Feefo hosts 59 older reviews, including parents describing repeat attendance, but no ratings in the preceding year. These are useful historical signals, not evidence that the current campus and staff have been independently assessed.

Age, language and eligibility

The operator explicitly welcomes international children and teenagers; enrolment at Port Regis is not required, and all summer pupils board. The operator says house parents support younger pupils and publishes a safeguarding policy; this is provider information, not a safety guarantee. English is the shared language of camp, with beginner-to-advanced lessons and no promised Japanese-language support.

What the days look like

Sample day: breakfast 08:30, meeting 09:15, lessons/workshops 09:30, lunch 13:15, afternoon sports, dinner 18:00 and evening social activities. Bedtime is 21:30 for ages 8–12.

Parents, accommodation and transport

Boarding houses are divided by age and gender, with younger pupils in Grosvenor House; meals and laundry are included. Airport transfers cost extra; confirm routing and unaccompanied-minor support. Tokyo travel requires a long-haul journey plus the Dorset transfer.

Included costs and the family budget

Historical 2026 fees: £3,420/two weeks or £6,420/four weeks. Includes residential supervision, meals, laundry, 15 hours of English weekly, standard sports/excursions and medical/travel insurance. Flights, airport transfers and optional specialist activities are extra.

Before you book

Confirm the 2027 prospectus, current 8+ minimum, child's boarding readiness, same-language mix, included insurance limits and airport-transfer cost before choosing flights.

Cancellation and refunds

The official page states a non-refundable £350 deposit and balance due six weeks before arrival, but a complete ordinary cancellation schedule was not verified. Its special travel-disruption flexibility expired with the 2026 arrivals and must not be represented as a standing policy.
