English Fella Family Study
Parent-and-child English study with one-to-one lessons on a residential Cebu campus.
Weekly starts · check availability
This is an ongoing family course, not an annual fixed-date camp. The Japanese official page offers Monday starts from one week; English/Korean pages still say eight weeks and differ on lesson counts. Confirm the Japanese-market short-stay terms and exact holiday timetable for the intended 2026/27 dates.

Why it is in this guide
An established parent-study model for families who value individual teaching and living near the classrooms, including a dedicated course for five- and six-year-olds.
Who it may suit
Suits a parent who also wants to study and can manage the child's breaks, evenings and weekends. One-to-one teaching can be easier to adjust than a large mixed-level holiday group.
What to weigh up
The parent is an accompanying carer, not merely a visitor to a fully supervised children's camp. Study days are demanding and same-age group classes depend on the intake. Talamban is inland Cebu City, not a beach-resort location.
Operating history and evidence
A self-published parent series from May 2025 is unusually detailed and mixed: the child settled into individual lessons and liked adaptable teaching, while the family reported unavailable junior group classes, heavy books and some overly easy adult material. It is one two-week family's experience, not a controlled measure of language progress; sponsorship was not established. Official repeat-summer-family claims are separate marketing evidence.

Self-published family study account
The parent describes a young child enjoying flexible individual lessons, but a requested child group did not run and books were cumbersome for a short stay. The adult account also found some material too easy.
One family and a particular spring intake. Sponsorship was not established; the observations do not predict other teachers, classmates or outcomes.

Official Japanese family courses specifically cover international family study at Fella2: ages 5–6 in PRE-JEC and 7–15 in JEC, with beginner-to-advanced placement. The course requires an accompanying guardian. The Japanese agent says parents must also enrol and that non-studying guardians, under-five siblings and babysitting are not accepted; reconfirm these restrictions directly for the chosen arrangement.
What the days look like
Japanese official details list four individual lessons daily for ages 5–6; ages 7–15 add two small-group lessons. The guardian course has three individual speaking lessons, with an optional free group class. A parent account describes teachers adapting lessons with crafts/games and a hoped-for young-child group not running because numbers were insufficient.
Parents, accommodation and transport
Family accommodation is at Fella2, with dining and recreation on campus; confirm room type, cleaning/laundry, meals and check-in nights in the final quote. Parents remain responsible outside teaching. Arrange Cebu airport transfer and arrival buffer when travelling from Tokyo; flights, insurance and weekend outings are separate.
Included costs and the family budget
A Japanese authorised agent's 2026 table lists two weeks in a twin room at USD 1,020 (Approx. ¥161,000) for GEC plus USD 1,260 (Approx. ¥199,000) for PRE-JEC/JEC, with USD 150 (Approx. ¥24,000) registration each: USD 2,580 (Approx. ¥407,000) combined before local charges. This is an agency-published base example, not a verified complete school invoice. Official local charges include SSP, SSP card, books, management fee, ID, pickup and a refundable deposit; their family/short-stay application must be quoted separately.

Before you book
Get the child's actual lesson count, parent course requirement, group-class fallback, room allocation, all PHP local charges and public-holiday make-up rules in writing. Confirm the one-week admission claim because official language versions disagree. Short courses should target confidence and practice, not promised level gains.
Cancellation and refunds
The school website's 'terms' page only covers website use, not tuition refunds. A Japanese agent publishes pre-departure penalties and partial post-start refunds, but these are not sufficient to establish the family's school/agent contract. Obtain both cancellation policies, including registration, dormitory and local-fee treatment, before paying.
